Report a Dog
Contact Dog Control Officer, Joel Troutman, at (607) 727-6645 to report a lost or found dog/s, dog bites, dog/s running at large, or unlicensed dog/s:
New York State requires ALL DOGS OVER THE AGE OF FOUR (4) MONTHS TO BE LICENSED IN THE TOWN THEY RESIDE. Any dog found to be unlicensed will be charged $25.00 in addition to the regular dog license fee.
Dog License Fee
New York State requires all dogs to be licensed upon reaching the age of 4 months. Owner must provide a current rabies certificate and a spayed/neutered certificate if the dog has been spayed or neutered
Spay/Neutered Dogs – $15.00
Unspayed/Unneutered – $25.00
A $5.00 fee will be accessed if the Dog License is not renewed by the 15th day after its expiration date.
