Music in the Parks
There are six parks in the Town of Chenango all open and free of charge from 7am to sundown daily.
WOLFE PARK
Located three miles from Front Street on Dorman Rd. this park consists of 182 acres of hiking and nature trails, a waterfall and natural scenic beauty, Open free of charge year round, activities such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing, bird-watching and nature study are encouraged. Visitors and wildlife can enjoy the beauty and serenity of this area. For a solitary walk, an educational hike or just relaxation, Wolfe Park is the right place to visit Trail maps and guides are available at the park entrance.

OTSININGO NORTH
Formerly known as Riverfront Park, Otsiningo North is located on Upper Front Street near Northgate Plaza it was recently connected to the original Otsiningo Park as a joint effort with Broome County and the Town of Chenango. The walking trails we are all so fond of in Otsiningo South are currently being extended into the northern expansion. This park is home to a vast soccer complex. Each week, you will find soccer games and practice games there. Come on out and watch the games. You will soon have a favorite team to root for.

HIDER PARK
Hider Park is a community park located on Morningside Drive off Front Street in the southern part of the town. Here, you will find playgrounds, athletic fields, basketball courts and picnic pavilion. This park has been home to many of the Little League teams throughout the years. You will enjoy the true family and community feeling found here

BROAD ACRES PARK
Another of our parks located just off Front Street (just past Lowe�s) on Jacobs Highway. Although a smaller park, future expansion is being planned. You will find playgrounds, picnic tables and friendly neighbors here it is a nice place for moms and dads to take the younger children on a hot summer day for playtime and a leisurely lunch under the shade trees.

CHENANGO BRIDGE PARK
As its name implies, this park is in Chenango Bridge, on River Rd. � mile from the intersection of� Kattelville Road. This is a popular park with a lovely picnic pavilion and several athletic fields, as well as playground equipment. Many of our local people have great memories of ball games played here.

CASTLE CREEK PARK
Once referred to as the Castle Creek Civic Association field, this park is located right off NYS Route 11 near the Highway Department garage in Castle Creek. Here you will find picnic areas playgrounds and athletic fields. Castle Creek Park also has an indoor, heated, year round concession stand with a kitchen, tables and rest rooms This facility can he used for showers, birthday parties, reunions, etc. For reservation and rental information, contact the Parks Department or the Town of Chenango.
